Partners for School Wellness
Newton County School System's (NCSS) Wellness Committee has developed guidelines to focus our efforts on improving student wellness. The Wellness Policy was presented by the Superintendent's School Nutrition Program (SNP) designee to the NCSS Board of Education on November 12, 2013 and provided to schools to use for implementation during the 2014-15 school year. The Policy was then again revised and received Board approval in 2017. SHARING THE WELLNESS MESSAGE
NCSS is focused on sharing the message of nutrition and wellness via our SNP website. Our website provides information on nutrition and fitness concepts for teachers, parents, and students, as well as, a variety of learning tools.

WELLNESS POLICY EVALUATION REPORT
